Challenge Deliver a value-engineered design solution that would: ˇ Accelerate the project schedule using single trade erection. ˇ Meet the non-combustibility building codes using less mass. ˇ Offer quality comparable / superior to traditional structural steel and concrete The owner had previous experience with cold-formed steel construction, but was frustrated by the lack of support and expertise. A visit to one of our job sites helped the owner decide to convert his project to our building system. Our Solution By using our proprietary framing technology,1 TradeReadyŽ floor system, and cementitious floor underlayment we: ˇ Enabled the framing crews to drive the project helping reduce the time to erect the structural frame. ˇ Delivered a high quality solution with the TradeReadyŽ Floor System, eliminating the need for drop-ceilings and the associated costs. ˇ Provided a strong but lightweight structure that substantially reduced the overall weight of the building, which in-turn helped reduce the associated engineering, labor, and material costs. |
